The Chattooga River, designated a National Wild & Scenic River, is where the movie Deliverance was filmed. Breathtaking landscapes, wilderness paddling, half-day to full-day and overnight trips allow anyone the chance to experience this beautiful river. You’ll find it in South Carolina not far from the Georgia border.
The Ocoee River, the site of the 1996 Olympic whitewater events, is located in southeastern Tennessee only a few miles from the Georgia and North Carolina borders. A favorite for the region's adventure seekers.
The Nantahala River, one of America’s favorite whitewater playgrounds, is in the Nantahala National Forest in western North Carolina.
The exciting Pigeon River, adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, in eastern Tennessee near North Carolina.
The newest river in the nation, the Cheoah, is non-stop fun for over three hours. Considered some of the most advance whitewater in the nation this river is nestled next to the southwest border of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park in northwest North Carolina.
Wildwater offers half-day or multi-day river trips, instructional clinics, equipment rentals, high and low ropes courses, climbing walls, mountain cottages, a restaurant, photography, river stores, a Group Lodge and our unique Yurt Village both at our Falling Waters Adventure Resort.
